Communications Committee
The Communications Committee's primary focus is to
develop a unified approach to EMS communications with providers throughout Allegheny County. This includes the establishment of a county-wide EMS numbering system,
UHF dispatch and med channel allocation. Additionally, the Committee works to foster the use of new technologies including
the 800 megahertz system and other modalities.
